Which areas do you cover?
I can attend in person to locations in and around Burton on Trent. Travel within 10 miles of Stretton, Burton on Trent is included in the price of services. Over 10 miles travel is charged at 45p per mile.
Do you provide any services remotely?
Most services can be delivered remotely, with many preferring a remote option as it is more compatible with other daily commitments.
How much does it cost?
As each package is bespoke and tailored to individual requirements, it is difficult to give an accurate costing for all requirements. Where it is possible to provide a standard pricing, this is included in the relevant section on the website.
What are some common worries or uncertainties parents, teachers, or individuals might have before seeking help, and what would you tell them to put their mind at ease?
It's completely normal to have worries before seeking support. Many parents and individuals often question if their challenges are 'significant enough' for coaching, or how it differs from other interventions. Teachers might wonder about the practical implementation of strategies within school settings. The initial contact leads to the scheduling of a free 15 minute consultation which offers a safe, no-pressure space to explore your concerns. The focus is on understanding your unique situation and collaboratively determining if our tailored approach is the right fit, helping to ease any uncertainties and set a clear path forward.
Who is suitable for coaching and do I need a diagnosis?
Anybody who is motivated to make changes, open to self-reflection, and wants to improve their well-being and productivity is suitable for coaching. Coaching is available for individuals who are diagnosed, self-identified, or simply questioning if they are neurodivergent.
How does coaching differ from therapy or mentoring?
Coaching is action-oriented and focused on future goals and current functional strategies, rather than clinical diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions. Common topics include time management, working memory challenges, sensory issues, communication skills, emotional regulation, and navigating workplace or social dynamics.
How often are coaching sessions?
This can be tailored to the individual’s preferences. The favoured frequency is fortnightly, which allows ample time for reflection and implementation of strategies; however, this is fully flexible dependent on the individual’s capacity and commitments.
How many coaching sessions will I need?
Again, this is due to personal preference and the level of support required. Most people will need a minimum of 4 sessions and a maximum of 20. Some people prefer to have a course of sessions and then a check-in at a later point to revisit or modify strategies. This is your journey, and you choose the path you wish to take.
